A number of members of the Romsley and Hunnington History Society and the Romsley Art Group joined a group from the West Midlands Historic Buildings Trust and the Worcestershire Building Preservation Trust, firstly for a buffet lunch and then to walk the grounds of the Hagley Hall Estate.

Our Annual Summer Outing

Twelve members of the History Society were yet again treated to a beautiful day for their annual summer outing to Wightwick Manor, Wolverhampton on 3rd July 2014.

In bright sunshine we walked through some of the beautiful gardens to the coffee shop where we had drinks and biscuits or cake. At 11.00 a.m. we were escorted by our guides Margaret and Marion to the main house to commence our private tour - the general public would not be admitted for another hour. We split into two parties of six.
