Redhill Farm, like Hollies, Hollyhurst and Horsepool Farms, probably came into being as a result of the subdivision Porch House Farm, which Ralph Harris leasedfrom Blount and Tuckey in 1558. Redhill Farm takes its name from the unusuallyred sandstone in this area. Joseph Weston, who had a valuable milk business inCradley Heath, came to farm at Redhill and Hollyhurst Farms in the 1880's. Hedied in 1917, but his son Frederick went on to build the garage on Red Hill in the1930's.
