Mission Room, Romsley
Mission Room, Romsley

The National School continued in use until the present school was built in 1915. The building was put up for auction in 1916, but was purchased by the Rev. W.D. Thatcher of Clent (Rector of Romsley 1882-1893) for use as a 'Mission Room'. It was extended in 1925 to include a stage and sanctuary for religious services. The building was later styled the 'St. Kenelm's Church Hall' and a committee room, kitchen and toilets were added in 1968.
